I want to go to NYC this November!

Well I know this is a Dream but I would love to do it.... For my birthday (In November) I want to go to New York City just for like a weekend. It will be around like Oct. 31st to Nov 3rd or 4th. I will be 19. This trip really isn't meant to see the sights. Just to shop! We went last summer for what I like to think was my Graduation Trip and spent many days there and did everything and more. I want to go just so I can stock up on goodies. I got a New York City sweatshirt last summer that I loved but now have lost and I would like another one. And I got these Chanel sunglasses that i scratched and broke and would like another pair. I just want to hit Canal Street and China Town (that's where all the knock offs are: purses, jeans, sunglasses, belts, jewelry). Last summer when we went I was so grateful that Chris and Katie and the kids even let me stop by there but I just did not have enough time so that is why I want to go. I will be bringing a couple empty suit cases and one pair of clothes (ha ha I need all the room I can get) and I am just going to stock up on as much as I can! :) And I want to make this a GIRLS ONLY TRIP. Who ever is interested in going. Let me know, we can all start planning and saving for it!!! And once again let me repeat that is a dream- to be able to go to New York would be a dream but I feel like if I make it a goal I can do it. And if anyone would go with me then this could really be a reality... but still a dream :)

Mole Winner

Last night was the finale of the Mole. It was fun to finally see who the Mole was and who won $420,000. The winner was Mark. Good for him- he had a sweet story of what he would do with the money. Use it so his wife doesn't have to work anymore and she can stay home with the kids.

And about Who The Mole was, well it was Craig! What a great summer show, it sure kept me entertained.

And for all of you who voted on the poll. Thanks! You guys know who you are-

Down East Outfitters

Yes! I finally got a job! I will be working at Down East Outfitters full time at the store located in American Fork. Next to target over there. I am so very excited. As you know it has been a couple months since I have been working at a company and so I am very happy that I finally got a job. This is great, Down East is such a great company and I love their clothing line: Down East Basics. They are very trendy and very modest! Yahoo!!!!!! I am sorry but I am so happy!

Special thanks to Katie and Chris and Sam and Saundra for putting my butt in gear and threatening me with either doing yard work with Sam or finding a job! :)

Come visit me if you ever get a chance.

Oh my I was Hypnotized!

Last night for family home evening the singles ward went to a Hypnotise Show. Of course I really wanted to be in the show because I have never been hypnotized before. I have always seen a hypnotise show at like county and state fairs and they are just too many people to make it onto the show. But this show was at a park in Lindon. It was awesome. Ha ha ha I remember every thing that I did and happened. It was very funny! The group of people that were up on the stage (including me) where up there for over 2 1/2 hours. Which interesting enough it felt like 1/2 hour. I felt kinda paralyzed... I was super tired the whole time. I just felt so tired and so out of it. Very drowsy like I couldn't understand what was happening to my body.

So for the fun part.... The stuff that I did that I guess what very funny: I know I lip synced and danced to Britney Spears "Oops I Did it Again". (How embarrassing). And then the chairs we were sitting on kept buzzing us every time he said buzz. Well there was this cushion that I guess you could sit on and you wouldn't be able to feel the buzz. Well I had it and some one stole it from me. And the hypnotise said that you had to put it in your pants to stop the buzz well I wanted that cushion. So I started to go underneath this guys shirt and kinda looking down this guys shorts to get the cushion. That was funny but then the hypnotise froze me and I never got it back!!! And then the third thing everyone said was funny well let me set it up for you. We were at the drive in. We are all imagining and we were watching a romantic movie and were supposed to cuddle up to the person next to you and I was sitting next to an old guy and we started cuddling watching this drive in movie. That sounds weird now (me telling you this) but last night it was really funny when it happened. The singles ward I guess was laughing hard at me and this old guy!

Of course they are people who were like Cassidy you were faking it... I will be honest to the people who are reading this. At times I was sort of faking it because I couldn't really imagine what we were doing and imagining us really being there like at the beach for example. But it was very fun to be in the show. My first time and I am glad I did it once. But I think next time I will just enjoy the show from the audience. I believe in it: It is just imagining. All I do know is that afterwards I had a huge headache. Hmmm only leaves one to wonder...

Grammy & Grandpa, Welcome to Utah

I just wanted to Welcome my Grammy and Grandpa (I like to call them my G-units) to town. I hope your flight was good! And I am extremely happy your here. Two of my favorite people in the whole world. There in town for what people say "might be the last Swenson reunion for my grandpa and his siblings." Which is very sad because I remember when I was a little girl taking a road trip from California with just my G & G up to Utah just for these family reunions. It is tomorrow and I bet it will be a blast. Grammy and Grandpa, I can't wait to see you :) and I love you guys so very much! I hope you know that you are a big part of my life...

God Bless America!

This picture was taken of us on Fourth of July at a National Forest near San Francisco. I never got to post on Fourth of July or Pioneer day so I figured with the month of July ending I would take a chance to tell you how grateful I am to live in America: The Land of the Free! And I defiantly feel free being unemployed!

God Bless America because we all know we need it with an election coming up!
